Ryan (Kunwoo) has been the CEO and co-founder of GenEdit since its inception in 2016. Recognizing that the full potential of genetic medicine was constrained by limitations in delivery technology, he developed the company’s NanoGalaxy platform, which enables systematic and iterative screening of hydrophilic nanoparticles. A pioneering inventor in genetic medicine delivery technology, he holds over a dozen patents and has authored several influential papers in Nature journals. He earned his PhD in the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley and UCSF
